Word of the Day – June 12, 2008

Crepuscular
adj.
Occurring at or resembling twilight.
I hadn’t seen this word in a long, long time until reading it again the other day in a Christopher Hitchens article in “Variety” magazine.  It reminds me of the name of an exotic fish that you might find on a menu in the caribbean.

Beach House is the impressive indy rock duo of Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand. They hail from Baltimore, Maryland, although you would probably have guessed Sweden or Norway just by looking at them.
